What are the LAF guild Study Groups?

The LAF guild is dedicated to all fiber arts, and our mission statement spells out our specific dedication to education in the fiber arts. Part of our vision for the fulfillment of that mission is the formation of study groups for more in depth study on particular fiber arts. Study groups are meant for serious study of the subject and involve a commitment to participate, attend and do homework. If you are looking for a more social atmosphere, you may want to join or start a social group in your particular fiber field.

Felting study group

If you are a member and interested in improving on your felting skills, please join us at the meeting. This group will meet for 5 consecutive months with a major show & tell at the end. The group will decide what types of things we'd like to explore. This will be a wet felting group, if you'd like to do needle felting, maybe that can be another study group! I will be facilitating, but not "teaching", we will be teaching ourselves!
